Still working. I may not submit another pic for a LONG time now since I just got Metal gear Solid 4 and it ROCKS!!!

I have tagged my two pictures of my character Whisper as 'Mature' since there seems to be a huge wave of Maturity Tag offenses going on and people keep getting hit by dA for not putting the tag on their works that 'require' it. Some works have been hit even when they have like no maturity at all.

That being said I will just say that my next portrait that I am working on is DEFINITELY going to need a Mature Tag.

Work, Work, Work

Just to keep up to date. I am still working and balancing several pictures at the same time. I have recently purchased two new art books which hopefully will help me in the long run.

I just finished a sketch of a reptilian humanoid female since there was a thoroughly pictured example of something like it in one of the books. But my computers acting up so scanning is a problem and 2 gigs of space mysteriously just dissappeared entirely. Probably has something to do with the cpu's low RAM but ultra HIGH memory reqs for huge scans.

But I am trying although it is difficult to do any kind of quality art when you've had NO actual training experience AT ALL.

Well i'm still here if anyone is wondering.

After finishing my three latest pictures:

I have actually grown more confident that my pictures are improving for once. I am currently working on a character sketch of my main character Kyne. To those who may not know, He is the guy with the deformed arm. Since I have learned new drawing and shading techniques, I feel that it may turn out quite well. Along with that I am also in the process of inking a landscape picture of Princess Solara sleeping in a desert. I have yet to make a real profile on her but I'll probably do what i did with the new Drax and Whisper pictures and put the bio in the description.

I just recently finished a sketch of Elwood and Whisper staring off in the sunset together on the edge of a cliff.

Well that's that for whatever I can say is new. I'm always working on something.

What's new?

Well I am still balancing school work and artwork. I have a big research project I need to be working on as well. If I want a grade higher than a C this quarter then I'd better work on it ^^;. Problem is I don't even know what I'm gonna write about for 6-8 full pages.

Besides the impending doom of that, I am somewhat... proud to say I am sort of happy with how my latest character portraits turned out. I feel I over did the special effects and coloring on Whisper.

I also think the contrast of color between light and dark for Drax was a bit high for realism.

Other than those concerns, I am working on the scenery pictures with my characters in them. I have four sketches already and have incomplete Inks for two of them. the other two aren't even scanned yet.

Just wanted to say high to friends who seem to have forgotten me in my absence.

Still working

Well It's been a while since I last posted. I assure everyone that I have been working. But I'm trying to balance dozens of things at once including like 3 different pieces. I have a few unfinished sketches of my comic charcters as well as a page of lineart unfinished and an unfinished painting which has its Flats but incomplete shading.

Now for the bad news. My mother has forced me to cancel my WoW subscription so I won't be as enthusiastic to work on those WP pieces that I Print-Screened. But as long as I hold good grades and do other menial things around home I'll get it back.

I am currently spreading my work on 6 pieces however:
-A revised porttrait of Drax [link] with more detail since I've learned so much more than tracing outlines and cel shading.
-A landscape of a desert, a floating island tomb in the distance, and Princess Solara [link] sleeping in the foreground. She won't be portayed as a wimpy High-Class royal but she will be wearing more battle oriented attire.
-A beach with some random cottage in the distance and Arana [link] casting some magic. There will also be a little fairy hiding behind her who's name I haven't thought of yet. If anyone has suggestions when they see it I will gladly accept.
-a Forest fight scene with Sarena Vale [link] and Derek [link] .
-A Large scale landscape view behind Elwood [link] and Whisper [link] . The two will be on a cliff edge looking at the sunset with a small village down below. Just a little mid plot here, Elwood and Whisper would be another pair of lovers, aside from Kyne and Arana, (if my comic took flight). They pretty much represent the union of opposites since Whisper is very dark in spirit and Elwood is a holy paladin.
-A full body portrait of Whisper [link] who will have a very unique attire compared to the rest of the heroes. Many should understand when I say "The good Lord giveth... And He just kept on Givethin'"

That's basically what I'm trying to stretch my time into. I'm also prone to begin an entirely new random setch with new skills I pic up from books. Then I try to somehow incorporate it to something to do with my "comic".
